A running list of what's shipped recently and what's being worked on next across the DSnakes Network. Nothing here is a fixed date — just where things are headed.
13 free browser games, global leaderboards, and an achievements system with daily challenges.
Account security upgrades: two-factor authentication (email + authenticator app), backup recovery codes, login alerts, and optional email verification.
Sign in with Google, as a faster alternative to a password.
Public profiles with "The Wall" — leave comments and likes on any player's profile.
Fixed a mobile bug where the profile name/avatar link would disappear unless the phone was held in landscape.
Rebranded from "DSnakes Gaming" to "DSnakes Network" — reflecting a whole network of sites, not just a gaming community — across the homepage, emails, and branding.
Multi-language support — pick between 6 languages across the network, with the choice remembered across visits.
Moved the language switcher somewhere easier to find, instead of being tucked away.
An automatic machine-translation fallback for anything that hasn't been manually translated yet, on top of the 6 built-in languages.
A refreshed homepage with live stream detection, TeamSpeak status, and a cross-network updates feed.
Proper link previews (Open Graph / Twitter Card) across the network, so shared links show a real title, description, and image instead of a bare URL.
This roadmap page itself, plus a teaser for it right on the homepage under Latest Updates.
A growing collection of small community utilities.
A single DSnakes account for the whole network is live, with a real security dashboard: two-factor authentication, active sessions & devices (see and sign out of them individually or all at once), a security event log, which network sites you've actually signed into, and exporting or deleting your account data.
Weekly and monthly leaderboards alongside the existing all-time board, plus rank tiers/badges instead of one flat list.
A proper changelog page for bigger announcements, linked from the homepage's Latest Updates section, instead of squeezing everything into short blurbs.
Live voice and video calling between friends, with a real ringtone instead of a plain beep.
Group chats with proper admin tools — promote or demote admins, add or remove members, rename the group.
A community marketplace for buying and selling, with a direct "message the seller" flow.
Customizable profile dashboards — pick which widgets show up and in what order — plus a way to save/bookmark things for later.
Round, editable profile photos with built-in cropping and rotation tools.
Early live video streaming support, including a broadcaster dashboard and live chat.
A reputation/upvote system on profiles, beyond a simple like count.
Editing your own posts and videos after publishing, including changing who's allowed to see them afterward.
Reactions beyond a plain like — a small set of quick emoji reactions on posts, comments, videos, and tracks.
Quoting a post with your own added commentary, plus a "Following" timeline alongside the existing algorithmic feed.
Watch history with a "continue watching" shelf, and basic view/watch-time stats for your own uploads.
Small cosmetic recognition badges on profiles, plus a rotating community highlight.
A community board for finding collaborators on creative projects (music, video editing, and more).
A public board for submitted feature ideas, with community upvoting.
Playlists for videos and shorts, with privacy controls (public/friends/private) and a featured playlist on your profile.
A "LIVE" indicator next to a user's avatar wherever it shows up, whenever they're actively streaming.
A full-screen, story-style viewer for browsing someone's bubbles.
Fixed live-stream playback getting stuck on a loading screen for viewers — the broadcast itself was always fine, only watching one back live wasn't.
Message someone you're not friends with yet and it now shows up as a proper message request (accept, decline, or report) instead of silently landing in their inbox — replying accepts it automatically.
Calls now leave a real entry in the chat thread afterward (missed, declined, or how long it lasted), and every message shows when it was sent, grouped by day.
Fixed blocking someone not actually stopping them from messaging or calling you in a conversation you'd already had together.
Automatic scam/abuse detection now also covers first messages from strangers and marketplace buyers/sellers, on top of the public posts and comments it already covered.
Fixed a long-standing bug where reloading the page on certain sections could incorrectly show you as logged out even though your session was still valid.
Fixed shared group and page links showing an error page when opened directly or refreshed instead of loading normally.
Videos and tutorials are easier to find via Google and other search engines now, with real preview cards and thumbnails when a link is shared.
social.dsnakes.com is live in beta and no longer hidden — linked right from this homepage. Anyone can now watch a live stream, or browse groups, pages, and Q&A without an account; posting, chatting, and commenting still need one.
A streamer's channel now shows a real offline page (avatar, bio, last VOD) instead of just "not currently live," plus an optional donate link (Ko-fi, PayPal.me, etc.).
"Ask the Nest" — a new Quora-style Q&A section. Questions and answers can be posted anonymously; only a site admin can see who actually posted one.
A small, consent-gated number of ads now help cover hosting costs — never more than one at the bottom of the More page and an occasional one in the feed, never an interstitial or pop-up.
Expanded the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service (advertising disclosure, a donations clause, more contact addresses, and clearer terms around user-to-user interactions), and registration now requires explicitly checking a box to accept both instead of treating account creation itself as agreement.
Found a bug, or have an idea? Open the More menu and tap "Send feedback" — it goes straight to an admin, no separate form or email needed.
New games added on an ongoing basis — not a single release, just a steady drip.
Working through the backlog of bug reports and small UX rough edges as they come in.
Continued security hardening, performance work, and general polish across every DSnakes site — always running in the background.
👋 The old community forum is being retired — its replacement is actively being built behind the scenes, and it's shaping up to be a lot more than a forum. Beta is getting closer. Details coming soon.
An invite-a-friend / referral system.
Passwordless sign-in options, like passkeys.
Cross-network milestone posts — unlocking a big achievement or hitting a big score could automatically show up as an update, now that account.dsnakes.com ties everything together.
More small utilities, based on what the community actually asks for.
Real shareable links for Marketplace listings, Jobs/Gigs, the Collab Board, and Ask the Nest questions — right now only groups, pages, profiles, and content pages have their own proper URL.
Backfilling full translations for the newer features (Ask the Nest, live-stream donate links, and more) into all 6 languages — they currently fall back to English until that's done.
Got an idea or a request? Send it to info@dsnakes.com — this list grows from what the community asks for.
